Waiting for Superman

So... I can't remember if I blogged about this or not yet. I thought I did but I went back to see and didn't see a post about it. Anyway... I saw a trailer a few months ago for this movie called Waiting for Superman. I haven't seen it yet, but it looks VERY interesting and makes me appreciate that I have somewhat of an education. I say somewhat because Pinellas County's school system is ... well... terrible. But it makes me appreciate learning and even wish that I was good at teaching so that I could help. It makes me wonder why educators don't get paid more. I wish they did because they are so important to the future of this country. It's sad really. Well, I won't ruin more of the plot for you, just take a look at the trailer.

I must say, I am very happy about Lebron's choice to join the Miami Heat. And the fact that Cleveland is so mad about it makes it that much sweeter. I mean really guys... can they really expect him to stay in one place for his whole career? He had to leave sometime! I think it's great that Lebron, Dwayne, and Chris got together and even took less money than they could be getting to have this opportunity. I think I might become a Miami Heat fan next year. After all, I was a "heat" when I played rec ball so I'm not really a band wagon-er. :)

I really didn't have anything in mind for this blog post, I'm just tired of seeing the same one's for the last few days.

Recipes

As many of you know, I'm doing all the cooking (and cleaning) now. So I need more recipes of things to make. I think mom and dad are getting tired of eating watermelon every night for dinner. Ok, just kidding about the watermelon. But I do need more recipes. I got a few the other day from Alicia and Julie. But you can never have enough. So if you have any good ones email them to me!

Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?

Let's pretend I'M Carmen Sandiego. Why, because that title of the post sounds better than replacing Kimmy Meyers. Guess I don't have a cool enough name for a TV show. Well, I really have nothing to say. I just thought I would do a new blog post because I was tired of seeing the old one. It's funny how I still check my blog when I'm going through the blog list to see who has updated recently. I mean I know I haven't, but I'm just expecting one day there will be a new post on mine.

Oh! I do have one thing to say. I changed my whole layout. Yeah, you can already see that... unless you're blind. Then you wouldn't be reading this.

I think a lot of you (Julie and Joe) are hoping that I will post something here about my new development called "a relationship". Not a snowballs chance in heck. Sorry guys. ;) Maybe one day though. Like after June 23rd. Maybe.

Oh, I am probably going to go see the play Mary Poppins tonight. That's exciting I guess.

Yeah, I'm not really good at blogging. It's pretty much just me talking and I feel like no one is listening and therefore I'm crazy. Ah, what can you do.
